LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to initiate an anti-government lobbying in the United Kingdom in what they said the wake of the Panama Papers.
It has been decided that contacts shall be established with the ‘friends’ in Labour and Conservative parties in this regards. PTI London President Barrister Waheed-ur-Rehman said that the party’s leadership would meet with British lawmakers after Eidul Fitr.
He said that the British lawmakers shall be demanded to take ‘legislative action’ against those who purchased properties through money earned by corruption. Barrister Waheed also said that it was decided that the London police shall be complained after the Eid festival about those named in Panama Papers.
The PTI leaders residing in London will register complains against those who purchased properties through money earned by corruption whereas an awareness campaign against the Panama papers shall also be run in the city.
