MUZAFFARABAD: As many as 733 candidates submitted their nomination papers and other required documents in the Election Commission for the upcoming general elections being held on July 21, 2016 in Azad Jammu Kashmir.
According to details, these candidates from different political parties submitted their nomination papers in the Election Commission office along with election fee to contest the elections in 29 constituencies of the state and 12 constituencies of Kashmiri refugees settled in all four provinces of Pakistan for the Legislative Assembly.
Some 2,235 million voters including four lack and forty four thousand voters of Kashmiri refugees will exercise their right of franchise to elect their representatives in the Legislative Assembly for the next five year term. The election commission office collected Rs 7,330 million in shape of election fee from the candidates.
