FAISALABAD: Separate road accidents in Tehsil Jaranwala on Monday, took the lives of two people – including a child, while three others were injured.
Police said that a bus hit Zafar, along with his wife, seven-year-old son Fezan and one-year-old daughter Fizza, while they were travelling from Shahkot to Jaranwala on a motorcycle.
They all sustained injuries and were shifted to a hospital where Fezan died. Police took the bus into custody while the driver managed to escape.
In another incident, a woman – identified as Iqbal Bibi – was hit by an unknown vehicle near Chak No 26-GB in Sader police limits. She died on the spot.
