LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif Sunday chaired a high-level meeting which reviewed progress on the under-construction 100-bed hospital in Manawan.

e provision of best medical
facilities was top priority of the government. “The projects for providing modern and quality medical services are being continued on a fast track, while state-of-the-art hospitals have been established in different c
ities of th
e province,” he said.
He said that Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital in Muzaffargarh was providing quality medical
facilities to patients and the Punjab government was working on the extension project of the hospital
.
Shahbaz said the hospital in Manawan would provide best medical
facilities to the residents of the locality. “The hospital would be of high standards as far as construction and medical
facilities and services are concerned.”
The chief minister directed officials concer
ned to select best doctors, nurses and other paramedical staff for the hospital. “The hospital is a gift by Punjab government to the masses of the locality,” he added.
